In one of our very first emails, Ayzit wrote: "For a long time now, I have been designing bags in my textile collections that play a supporting role, as I also feel bags are a kind of clothing item in their own right." That was in July 2007, and since then we have been sharing ideas and working together.
She has a wonderful sense of space, details, shapes, proportions and people. And at the same time she is precise and has such a fine sense of humour. She has left her mark in the PB 0110 collection, and artistic positions have emerged parallel to her design work. Her latest one is an intervention in the former cash hall of the town hall at Marienplatz in the heart of Munich. She chose the special characteristics of the space as a starting point and created the 'Ayzit Bostan Palast'.
The exhibition is only until the 07th of July, but her timeless, modern designs in our collection will remain for much longer.
Thank you so much for your broad and inspiring work, Ayzit.
