She arrived in Hanover with a box of fresh ingredients from the market and in combination with our selection she created a wonderful lunch, which we as a team enjoyed so much.
Only the weather didn't cooperate, instead of spring temperatures it had snowed and instead of picnic on the meadow we sat at the table.

We’ve gathered an assortment of items to make those crucial bits and bobs near at hand and easy to remember. A knobby keychain; a textured, compactable shopper; a coin case as bright and shiny as its contents; a phone holder that integrates a wallet, worn close to the body – these will help your essentials stand out and be on stand-by. All handmade in family-run businesses in Europe.
Any of these gifts are perfect for those whose everyday life doesn’t always look the same, except for the few constants that make it go smoothly. Who wouldn’t want some assistance with that?

I wish you a good Sunday,
Philipp Bree
Whatever you need to carry these days, the Shopper AB 113 is an uncomplicated companion that carries heavy things and is quite light when empty. I wish you a good start into the winter season.
In many cultures, the end of the calendar year is a time to show gratitude with gestures, surprises, celebrations or gifts. We believe that when an object accompanies us in everyday life, it grows close to our hearts. Over the next weeks, we will present a selection of models that may serve as an inspiration for generosity.
The Natural: warm and muted like the winter sun, this is honest leather that embraces both the future and remnants of the past. Its earth-toned hue will develop character over time, ever-evolving with its use.
Pieces from The Natural collection are well suited for those with an unwavering aesthetic who appreciate heirloom-quality products that truly go the distance. Our hope is that it becomes an essential item and lifetime companion to its owner; a gift that strengthens in memory.

I hope you are well and perhaps you have already travelled to Milan or Paris. Sadly, we will still only be able to present our new work digitally. During the pandemic I have been focusing on adding a softer language to the collection and have been working intensively on sourcing. We found a beautiful new leather that is incredibly thin and lightweight, made in Germany and certified by the Leather Working Group with the GOLD standard. The production of the soft models is in the hands of a new partner, a family business in Germany.

We are happy to arrange video or phone calls or to exchange ideas by mail.
I look forward to hearing from you and wish you a wonderful start to the new season.
In our smallest items of the collection, we try to combine as many qualities as possible on the minimum of surfaces. Leather that changes over time, stays alive, smells good, clear shapes, easy-to-use functions and warm, supple surfaces. Over the years, we have successively expanded our collection of accessories from voluminous to ultra-thin.

One of the reasons I founded PB 0110 is that I love it when objects or products grow in our hearts over time, develop an individuality in daily use and one day become our beloved objects.
In the last few years we have received a lot of feedback on our work and sometimes pictures of bags that have been worn for quite a while. This is always a very special moment for us, because it is a long journey from the development of the leather to the actual use of the products.
We borrowed two, photographed them and would like to present them to you. The big backpack CM 20, which has been in use for about 1825 days and the gym bag AB 18, which has been in use for about 1460 days.
It feels like we have reached a goal.
The idea for the collaboration came about in January 2021 during a phone call between Munich-based designer and artist Ayzit Bostan and Philipp Bree. During the dark time, they talked about the longing and scent of spring and ended up with the idea to design a sustainable version of a picnic cutlery and a matching case.
Philipp Bree approached Wilhelm Seibel, the owner of the MONO brand. A manufacturer that has been producing cutlery since 1895 and founded the Mono brand in 1959 and is now run by the fifth generation of the Seibel family.
The cutlery design of Mono Clip by Peter Raacke, which dates back to the 1970s but was only produced until the early 1980s, matched the idea. Its characteristic features are the rounded, wide shape and the supple handle recesses made of 1.25 mm thick stainless steel.
The knife has a high-quality serrated edge and works its way effortlessly through any bread crusts. Mono Clip is represented in various collections, such as the Dresden State Art Collections, the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, New York and the Denver Art Museum and celebrates its revival with this collaboration.
The case is functionally adapted to the shape of Mono Clip, emotionally it bows to the moment of eating and tasting together in style in the open air. Designed by Ayzit Bostan. Made from a vegetable-tanned leather from Belgium, in a tannery that has been dedicated to producing high-quality leathers for more than 150 years, and handmade in a family-run manufactory in the Czech Republic.
This is how we look forward to sharing moments together.
It´s all about the details. From the idea to the design and the actual production we are discussing so many details. For AB 103.1 for example we really discussed a lot about what kind of thread, what kind of leather, what should be the length of the shoulder strap, how should the bottom of the bag be constructed, etc. In this design process, 3 samples were created before the bag went into production. Sometimes we feel like working on a big puzzle. In other words:
It's all about the details.
AB 103.1 is back in stock.
About a year ago, I proudly presented the KHMU 1 Bag, which I found by chance about eight years ago in Tokyo, away from the well-known shopping streets. We established a great, sustainable and long-term cooperation with the producers and the initiative behind it to preserve handcrafts but also the livelihood of individual families.
Today, this cooperation is bearing new fruit, and I am happy to present the KHMU 1 in a new colour. It’s not black but very dark grey made of natural colour sources.
The shopping nets are still made by an indigenous tribe called Khmu in the north of Laos, whose culture goes back thousands of years. In about 40 small, remote villages, the bags are made entirely by hand. Each piece is unique. The fibre is obtained from local, fast-growing pea bushes. They split, dry and spin the fibre by hand and process it into bags in different sizes and shapes. It takes about two weeks from vine to finished product to make a single piece. Traditionally, the Khmu used their handmade bags to collect fruits and vegetables from the fields and forests. Click here to read the full story about our found beloved object and its production.
I was impressed by the lightness, texture and durability.
It weighs only 35g and can carry up to eight kilos.
I am very happy that these bags are part of our collection
and that we can further expand our cooperation.
I wish you or your mother a happy Mother's Day.
On this beautiful occasion, we are pleased to present a new project with one of the 'mothers' of the German newspaper landscape 'DIE ZEIT'. She is celebrating her 75th birthday this year and the idea to design a bag for this occasion came up in a personal conversation with the publisher. They wanted to create something generous, gender-neutral, accessible in price and of good quality. We imagined a bag for a market situation. A bag that has space for the medium, of course, but also for carrying everyday things.
The handles, shoulder strap and front pocket are made of vegetable tanned leather that will age nicely over time. For the body we use a 14oz waxed cotton, woven in an English weaving mill that has been producing excellent and durable outerwear fabrics since 1880. The design of the bag is by Munich-based designer and artist Ayzit Bostan. The logo was designed by the art director of Zeit magazine Mirko Borsche. And the production takes place in a family business in Poland. A real collaboration of many, like in a publishing house.
